Running 10 miles is the longest distance I’ve so far. But given that I ran 9 miles last Saturday, I knew it wouldn’t;t be a big deal. I paced properly and was able to average 9:33 per mile. So apparently we are far from the 12-minute mile I was struggling to meet when I first started running.

Mindset is everything. I continued to battle with my mind for the first 3 miles. I told myself not to worry about the distance but focused on form, breathing, and talking to God. God had my back and kept me focused..

This month I’m crushing 2 half marathons. Honestly, this is a goal I’ve set almost every year for the past 10 years. It only took a decision to make it happen. No more excuses.. Creating a stellar Life Resume.
