For some reason I decided to run a single loop right in front of my house for about an hour to lock in 5 miles.
Yes it was boring. But even worse, I have a strain on my right Achilles heel. I am stretching this baby out like crazy and have to roll my legs.
Recovery and preventative methods are a top priority.
I doubt if I ever run this single boring route again. I mean I was literally just running back and forth on my street for like an hour. I thought it made sense because there’s a steep hill at the end. So running the hill seemed appealing to build strength and get my times down.
Either way, no mo!
Although boring, I touched it out. Some things in life are just flat out boring. But they need to get done anyway. Push through! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Today was about staying on track for 10,000 push-ups. I had light meetings this morning so I got to the gym with a clear mind to focus on push-ups.
I started out with 25 to 1 push-ups which is a total of 435 in 18:51 minutes. Then added 85 more push-ups for a total of 23:35 minutes.
I usually take 30-60 breaks in between but I really don’t keep tabs on the breaks. I just make sure I’m pushing myself.
How can I tell if I’m pushing myself? If I’m exhausted, sweating and near cursing myself out. That’s how.
How can you tell if you’re pushing yourself?
Later this evening I went hard on sit-ups and push-ups to hit 1000 total. That’s right! 1000.. That’s a personal record of 1000 push-ups in a day.
It was 700 crunches and 300 sit-ups. All I can say is I hated it and it sucked! The shower afterwards was on point and the rest even better.
Go hard or go home. Well I was already home.
